Well I didn't fail Statics, I got a D... :\ So he did some curving even though he said he wasn't going to...

Why is a D bad??? Because in my department you have to retake any course that you get less than a C- on... Either way, I'm not angry that I have to retake the class because I will be taking it with Smilemoreb so I'll have someone to walk through hell with me this time... ;)

The reason I'm kinda bummed about all of this is not because I have to retake it, or that it was an impossible course, or that the same teacher is teaching it in the fall, or that I'm retaking a course that I DIDN'T FAIL... It's that I paid $700 bucks to take this class over the summer. I don't think I got anything out of it except knowing what the exams are going to be like in the fall...

On the same trend, I got an email yesterday saying that they are raising the tuition at school by $1000 in the fall. Yeah for being poor!!!

On the upside, I do have all the pictures of the homework solutions. So that should make the studying ahead in the fall a little easier and it should make some of the homework simpler to solve (he won't be assigning the same homeworks so don't call me a cheater, and if he does it will be 20-30 more problems per chapter on top of the 10 he gave us so I don't have nearly all of the solutions). That combined with Smilemoreb's (similar) experience of walking through hell alone we should be a pretty good team in the fall...
