Last night was good and not so good...
The teacher was actually able to hold my attention for the three hour class. It's amazing because A.) it was three hours and B.) it's a math/physics type class...
But here is the tough part, not bad but tough. We do a full chapter each lecture. There are homework assignments every class. (Four hours of work on the Monday lecture and eight hours of work for the wednesday lecture because of the break before the next class.)
Here is the bad part. I've heard this class kills people. Strangers I sat next to have taken the class before. Others heard the same rumors that I have heard. With all that said, This teacher does NOT curve... :(
Grades are set. 40% each for two exams and 20% for homeworks. He said he has been teaching this course for 17+ years and has had to fail 15 students one year. On the other hand, he said he had a year where 40 students got A's... So he will not resort to curving if the class average is failing. We are on our own...
I'm getting nervous... :\

It's not so bad ... mostly just remember that the sum of the forces is zero and the sum of the torques is zero ... always.

Information Systems ... officially. More honestly, I pick up whatever books look interesting and read them ... mostly attend the classes that will propel me toward a degree ... and hope like heck I absorb enough of what the instructor wants me to in order to get a decent grade.
It's working, mostly.
